🔧 1. Services and Pricing

JHD Electrical provides a range of domestic electrical services, including:

  • Fuseboard Replacements / Consumer Unit Upgrades

  • Electrical Safety Certificates (EICRs)

All prices are subject to VAT at the current rate.
Pricing is transparent and provided before any work begins.

💰 2. Service Pricing Summary

Fuseboard Replacement From £550 + VAT (up to 10 circuits) + £50 + VAT per additional circuit 50% deposit required to book, balance due on completion
Electrical Safety Certificate (EICR) From £120 + VAT (up to 10 circuits) + £20 + VAT per additional circuit Full payment required upfront to book


📅 3. Bookings and Deposits

  • Bookings are confirmed once payment or deposit has been received.

  • For fuseboard replacements, a 50% deposit secures your appointment.

  • For EICRs, full payment upfront is required to confirm your booking.

If payment is not received as per the terms above, JHD Electrical reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the appointment.

🔄 4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Cancellations or reschedules must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Cancellations within 24 hours may result in a call-out charge or loss of deposit.

  • Refunds (where applicable) will be processed within 5 business days.

⚙️ 5. Warranty and Workmanship

All workmanship is covered by a 12-month guarantee from the completion date.
Manufacturer warranties apply to materials and components supplied by JHD Electrical.
This guarantee excludes damage caused by misuse, third-party interference, or environmental factors.

📜 6. Certification and Compliance

All relevant electrical work will be tested and certified in accordance with BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) and NICEIC standards.
Certificates will be issued digitally or in printed format upon completion and final payment.

⚡ 7. Liability

JHD Electrical is fully insured, operates under current BS7671 IEE wiring regulations & is a proud member of the NICEIC approved contractor scheme.
We are not liable for:

  • Pre-existing faults, damage, or wear in your electrical system

  • Delays caused by access issues or unsafe site conditions

  • Loss of data, income, or business during repairs or outages

🧾 8. Payment Methods

Payments can be made by:

  • Bank transfer (preferred)

  • Debit or credit card (via secure payment link)

  • Cash (for small jobs only)

All invoices will include VAT and payment details.
